Frances Vail is an award winning artist with both a national and an international reputation. After pursuing her lifelong passion for the arts at Syracuse University (M. A. Graphic Design and Painting), Frances moved to Europe to live in France and Austria for seven years. Traveling extensively, she was inspired to paint seascapes along the French Coast, as well as landscapes of the forested mountains to the east. Her artwork is shown in many collections abroad.

Currently a resident of the Chicago area, Frances' paintings, portraits and murals grace the walls of homes, offices, and restaurants throughout the country. A versatile, classically trained artist, Frances brings her finely honed drawing skills, enthusiasm and experience to both her commissioned and personal paintings. From 3" x 4" miniatures to monumentally scaled murals as large as 15' x 90', she crafts each painting into a work of fine art.
